  Mary Anderson, Owner, Anderson Race Management
Mary established ARM in 1996 and has served on numerous Boards including Minnesota Festival and Events, Minnesota Distance Running Association, Twin Cities Marathon, Girls on the Run and Minneapolis Park Board Foundation. ARM provides race management, timing, marketing and rental services for nearly 200 events each year. ARM specializes in running, biking, swimming and triathlon events throughout the Midwest.

Tom Barrett, MN Gambling Control Board
Tom Barrett is the Executive Director of the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The Board is responsible for regulating the charitable gambling industry in Minnesota. Last year, sales from charitable gaming exceeded $2 billion dollars making Minnesota # 1 in the US for charitable gaming sales. Mr. Barrett was appointed to the director position back in 2000 by then-Governor Jesse Ventura and continued to serve under the Pawlenty, Dayton and now Governor Walz administrations.


Kalsey Beach, Do Good Events

Kalsey Beach founded Do Good Events in 2012 - inspired by a love for events and their purpose (hence the name!) and a recognition of a gap in the market. In 2018, Do Good Events executed more than 150 events, assisted non-profit partners in raising more than $5 million at their fundraising events and launched an event staffing division. The team currently includes 8 full-time staff and 60 part-time event specialists.


Erin Cooper, Irish Fair of MN 
Erin Cooper accepted the Executive Director position at Irish Fair of Minnesota after joining the team as Office and Grants Manager in 2013. She was raised and still lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, she formerly owned and operated the Canada Goose Program, Inc. Erin is passionate about community, education, and the arts. In her free time, Erin enjoys old-timey hobbies like cross-stitch and canning homegrown tomatoes.

Paul Haga, Star Tribune
Paul Haga is a long‐time industry strategist in the digital marketing and advertising space with over 12 years’ experience working with travel and tourism destinations and arts and entertainment clientele across the state and region. In his role at the StarTribune, he specializes in building measurable, data‐driven digital campaigns with cutting edge digital solutions (Behavioral E-mail Marketing, Geo-Fencing, Native/Content Marketing, OTT/Connected TV, Programmatic/Streaming Audio) and expertise in digital strategy and analytics with certifications from Google Adwords, Google Analytics, IAB and others.

Scott Henry, American Metro  
Scott Henry is an advertising and business sales rep for American Metro/Metro Cash Register. He works with events, festivals or retail industries that have a need to rent cash registers and/or point of sale systems, wireless credit card machines or temporary credit card accounts.


Bruce Leasure, Minnesota SafeSport Committee Chair, USA Track & FieldBruce Leasure is a member of the board of directors of the Minnesota association of USA Track & Field. He is chair of the SafeSport committee for that association. Over the last 40 years, he has put on events in road racing, track & field, race walking and annual meetings for small scale professional societies.

Joan Loshek
Joan Loshek has operated her organizational development and learning and development consulting practice for almost 25 years. Her specialties include: organizational development, workshop facilitation,instructional design, conflict resolution, process documentation, and all types of business writing. Joan’s clients include a number of Fortune 500 companies, such as Siemens, General Electric, and Prudential.

Jeff Maas, CBIZ Insurance
Jeff Maas is the President of Midwest Branch of CBIZ, Inc., the 14th largest Insurance Broker in the US. He, along with Kris St Martin, CBIZ VP, runs a national Bank Insurance practice. He is formerly President/CEO of a mid-size Independent Insurance Agency in Minneapolis, MN,

  Paulette Odenthal, Get In Gear
 Paulette Odenthal is the Executive Director of Get in Gear. She has been active as an ambassador in the running industry for three decades as an accomplished runner, race director, group and 1:1 coach to both road and trail runners. She is on the board for MNFEA and is a former board member for Upper Midwest Trail Runner, Advisory Capacity to ATRA, state rep for RRCA, Run Coordinator for Life Time Lakeville and is working on development of new MN trail run to be launched in November 2019.


Rina Ross, Minnesota State Arts Board
Rina Rossi is a program officer with the Minnesota State Arts Board where she manages the Minnesota Festival Support grant program. Previously, Rina worked with Minneapolis Community Education as a program evaluator and youth program coordinator. She has served on several music festival planning committees and performed at national and international festivals, giving her hands on experience with the impacts festivals and events can have on artists, audiences, and communities.


Jack Stahlmann, The Don't Flinch Guy
Jack Stahlmann's entertaining and informative presentations are built around his experiences in Los Angeles as an actor, producer, director… and of course, a waiter. In 2002, he launched his own production company which created several films that enjoyed international success. As an actor his shining moment came in a co-star role on the CBS drama Cold Case where he played a wimpy park ranger. He also appeared on Days of Our Lives and several regional commercials.

Brent Widman 
Brent is a Professional Sales Coach, Partner and Team Leader with Southwestern Consulting, part of the multi-million dollar sales training and coaching division of the 160 year old Southwestern Company. He has his MBA, as well as an undergrad degree in Public Relations, but more importantly Brent is passionate about sales and has spent the last 14 years of his professional career refining his sales techniques. Two things that are truly near and dear to his heart are his 13 year old son Jack and his 4 year old daughter Elle. Truly why he does what he does.

Leah Wong, Mpls Dowtown Council
Leah Wong is the Vice President of External Relations for the Minneapolis Downtown Council. Her responsibilities include partnerships, communications/pr, marketing, and events. She is a champion for the mpls downtown council brand, engagement, and downtown experience. Leah led the re-branding effort and launched intersections: the downtown 2025 plan. Leah raises millions of dollars annually to promote downtown.
