MTGC Legislative Update – May 10, 2016
Less than two weeks left in the 2016 legislative session - it is crunch time!  Legislative leadership and the Governor are working to resolve differences in four major areas – taxes, budget, transportation and bonding before the deadline on May 23rd.
 
Our bill to fund the tourism events pilot project is included in the final negotiations and we need you to contact the conferees to encourage them to support funding for this important program!

The tourism events pilot project will benefit communities throughout the state of Minnesota in terms of increased visitors, tourism spending, tax revenues and positive promotion of Minnesota’s image as a vibrant and economically healthy destination!  We need your support!
