Event Description
The Mpls Downtown Council (MDC) is a business-led, membership organization focused on creating an extraordinary downtown through Leadership, Collaboration, Advocacy and Innovation. The MDC is committed to creating programming and activities for all ages throughout the year. The Holidazzle and Minneapolis Aquatennial are two major events that MDC produces each year. In addition, MDC oversees programming at Peavey Plaza, works in collaboration on Go Outside with Hennepin County at Target Field Station and Hennepin County Government Center South Plaza, WinterFest and WinterSkate at Loring Park with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board and Loring Park Community, the Skyway Open, Twin Cities Heart Walk with the American Heart Association, outdoor movies and much more.
